These instructions are for members who haven’t yet registered on this Champs website. If you have already registered, then go to the Profile Update instructions. If you’re having problems, have a look at these frequently asked questions.
If you follow these instructions, you’ll be able to get at all the member information on the site (such as how to pay for your subs) as well as a new “widget” which will allow you to see your race float and recent transactions whenever you want to.
Step 1: Go to the Register as a new user page and enter in a username (whatever you like), your email address and the membership number in the email (please use the email address you’ve received the notification email on as the race float widget is keyed to your email and membership number). The picture on the right shows you what it should look like and the membership number field is highlighted. You will also need to tick the box saying you agree to abide by the terms of use, and you will need to enter the Invitation code. If you don’t have your membership number or invitation code, contact membership at the usual email address.
Step 2: When you press register, you will be sent an email with your initial password. Follow the link in the email and log in.
Step 3: When you log in the first time you should be presented with your profile. You don’t need to enter anything else in here, but you may wish to change your password to something more memorable. To see your race float, click on the Dashboard button in the top left (as shown in the picture below).
You will be presented with a page with several different little widgets. One of them (possibly at the bottom) should say Race Float Status. It should have all your transactions and your current balance as shown below. If there is an error, email membership@championrowing.org.uk and let us know.
To go back to the main site, click on the Champion of the Thames Rowing Club link at the top of the page.
If you want to go to your dashboard or profile at other times when you are logged in, click on your username at the very top left of the page. To do it now, click on the picture below.
