Safari Dinner
Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled.
Due to popular demand (and some very kind hosts/offers of food and drink) the Thanksgiving Safari Fundraising Supper will be going ahead on Saturday 30 November. The evening will showcase the cooking skills of Champs members, some fantastic venues in de Freville Avenue, Hurst Park Avenue and Arbury Road and our creativity around American Thanksgiving. As well as having a good night out, the main purpose of the event is to raise funds for Rosie’s wheel chair. So for the astoundingly great value suggested donation of £30 per head and a bottle of wine (£50 for a couple), your Thanksgiving Safari gives you:
- 7.00pm American cocktails and starters – hosted by Cathy Haines in de Freville Avenue
- 8.00pm Thanksgiving Turkey and all the trimmings: pumpkin pie, moose chipolatas and racoon rashers – hosted by Belinda in Arbury Road
- 9.30pm Baked American cheesecake, cheese, chocolates, American whisky and Port – hosted by Donna in Hurst Park Avenue.
And maybe dancing and possibly Moo Cow as well!
